Ellicar Win 'Supreme' Award at the 2024 APL Awards

On Friday 15th March we left our muddy site clothes behind, dressed up and caught a train to London together for The Association of Professional Landscapers Awards.

Little did we know team Ellicar was in for a huge surprise!

The APL Awards are held each year at the Brewery in London. The event was sold out this year with over 600 professionals from our industry attending including landscapers, construction specialists, horticulturalists and garden and landscape designers.

We joined the APL which is part of the HTA (Horticultural Trade Association) in 2023. In order to join and maintain membership, our company has to meet rigorous industry standards, and we have an inspection annually. Being a member is a benchmark of the quality of our work and reassures our clients and professional designers who we often work with.

This is the first time we have entered the awards, we were all blown away when Ellicar was called out 4 times!

Along with several certificates and 3 awards we were awarded Supreme Winner – wow incredible! It means a lot to us all to have our work recognised by the APL and also means we will have to try even harder in future as I don’t know how we will top this.

A huge thank you to the APL for putting on a wonderful day for us at the awards. It was fantastic to come together as an industry, meet so many like-minded people and see the incredible work being done in our industry and to be recognised for our own work.

And a massive thank you to Team Ellicar for all your incredible hard work, dedication, energy, creativity, innovation and that helps us create the most stunning pool and garden projects together from drawing board to planting up and diving into that crystal clear water, both for our clients to enjoy and wildlife to find a home.
